Použitie Autoregresného modelu pre rozoznávanie DDoS útokov

Abstract

The paper deals with the use of the Autoregressive model for Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) recognition and changes in the structure of network IP traffic. An autoregressive model is a linear model used in time series analysis and prediction. It represents a model in which the observed quantity linearly depends on its previous values. Our effort was to test the sensitivity of the coefficient value in Autoregressive models to change the nature of network traffic when switching from normal IP traffic to a flooded DDoS attack.Článok sa zaoberá použitím autoregresívného modelu pre rozpoznávanie distribuovaného záplavového útoku  (DDOS) a detekciou zmien v štruktúre sieťovej IP  prevádzky. Autoregresny model je lineárny model používaný v analýze a predikcii časových radov. Predstavuje model, v ktorom pozorovaná veličina lineárne závisí od svojich predchádzajúcich hodnôt. Našou snahou bolo otestovať citlivosť hodnôt autoregresívneho koeficientu na zmenu štruktúry sieťového IP toku pri prechode z normálnej prevádzky  na záplavový DdoS útok .
