Abstract

Předmětem návrhu je budova studentského centra, které se nachází poblíž centra města na křížení významné radiály ulice Vídeňské a nábřeží. Jeho kompaktní hmota uzavírá blok zástavby. V parteru je situována jídelna, nad níž je šest obytných podlaží. Zde jsou jednotky organizovány kolem centrálního atria, které vytváří kontinuální společenský prostor tvořený galeriemi, platformami, schodišti a prostory s lodžiemi. Výrazné barevné řešení akcentuje nároží a odlišuje jednotlivá podlaží.The design proposes a student centre, situated near the city centre on a junction of a major radial street Videnska and the embankment. Its compact volume completes a block of built-up area. There is a canteen on the ground floor, while the upper six floors contain student housing. Its living units are organized around a central atrium that makes up a continuous social space consisting of galleries, platforms, stairways and rooms with loggias. The expressive use of colours emphasizes the corner and distinguishes each floor from the others.
