Nová sklárna v Květné

Abstract

Projekt reaguje na potřebu oživit historický areál sklárny v obci Strání-Květná, která po desetiletí představovala významný bod na mapě českého i světového sklářství. Návrh přináší novou funkční a prostorovou organizaci, jež propojuje návštěvnický zážitek, komunitní život i bydlení. V předprostoru areálu vzniká nové náměstí, které doposud existovalo jen v názvu – nyní se stává skutečným centrem dění. Spolu s novým pavilonem a seniorskou rezidencí nabízí důstojný veřejný prostor pro místní obyvatele, návštěvníky sklárny i turisty mířící do Bílých Karpat.The project responds to the need to revive the historic glassworks in the village of Strání-Květná, which for decades represented an important point on the map of Czech and world glassmaking. The design brings a new functional and spatial organisation that links the visitor experience, community life and housing. A new town square is being created in the foreground of the site, which until now existed only in name - now it is becoming a real centre of community activities. Together with the new pavilion and senior residence, it offers a dignified public space for local residents, visitors to the glassworks and tourists heading to the White Carpathians.
