Abstract
This paper demonstrates the possibility of using cost-benefit analysis to evaluate investmentsin the development of local distribution systems, specifically the modernization of distributiontransformers. The article interprets the results of the analysis of three investment variants of aspecific company operating a local distribution system in the Czech Republic.
