Abstract

Při navrhování do sociálně segregované oblasti máme v podstatě dvě možnosti. První varianta, znamená tvářit se, že v oblasti není žádné sociální vyloučení a přistupovat k návrhu jako kdekoliv jinde. Tato varianta je však velmi nebezpečná v podpoře vytlačování současného obyvatelstva, které si prostě jednoduše nemůže dovolit bydlet v nových bytech. Tato možnost nepřichází v úvahu do doby, než se změní podmínky ve společnosti, jinak je to předzvěst další gentrifikace. Druhá varianta znamená tedy jakousi snahu o sociální inženýrství a tedy jakýsi scénář, kterým návrh inscenuje vývoj ve společnosti. Tato varianta v sobě skrývá snad ještě více nebezpečí a otázek, než první. Nejdůležitější je dost možná ta, jestli je něčeho takového architektura vlastně schopna.When designing in socially segregated areas have basically two options.
