Abstract

Tématem projektu je návrh novostavby kulturního centra v lokalitě Brno-Starý Lískovec, Mikuláškovo náměstí. Pozemek se nachází mezi bloky panelových domů. Princip návrhu spočívá v jednoduché kombinaci kompozičních os. První osa je osou symetrie náměstí, druhá osa znázorňuje převládající směr zástavby z 60. let, třetí osa vyjadřuje jakési odpoutání od současnosti místa a představuje výhledovou osu do krajiny. Takto spojené linie vytvořily hmotu, která po zohlednění prostorových nároků jednotlivých provozů dala výsledný tvar. Celý objekt je funkčně členěn do dvou části – samotné kulturní centrum jako jádro a k němu přidružené provozy v jedné části. K doplňkovým provozům patří provozovna kavárny, knihkupectví s uměleckou tématikou a výstavní prostor. Cílem bylo vytvořit kompaktní celek, ve kterém se lze pohybovat neomezeně mezi těmito provozy. Důležitým prvkem v exteriéru je fasáda. Budova se v různou denní dobu různě tváří, podoba světel a stínů se mění, jakmile zapadne slunce. Součástí této idey byl venkovní průchod budovu, který návštěvníky nasměruje k hlavním vstupům. Venkovní prostory jsou určeny pro rekreaci a pro umění.The goal of this project is to design a new cultural centre building in the locality Brno-Starý Lískovec, Mikulášovo square. The building site is situated between two separate blocks of flats. The principle of this draft lies in a simple combination of compositional axes. The first axis is the square’s axis of symmetry, the second one represents the distinctive shapes of the built up area from the 60’s and the third one expresses a certain metaphorical axis of the landscape panorama. This connection of lines created material which, after consideration of space requirements of all the workflows and traffic, provided the final shape. The whole object is functionally divided into two parts – the cultural centre itself as the core, and the attached sub-parts. Among the supplemental facilities there are areas dedicated for a cafeteria, a bookshop with artistic theme and an exhibition space. The objective was to create a compact structure which would allow an unlimited movement across those facilities. An important part of the exterior is the façade. The building changes “moods” during the day, the colours and shades change with the sun going down. This idea includes a plan of exterior passage which can guide visitors to the main entrances. The outside areas are designed for relaxation and art.
