Obnova kláštera ve Šternberku

Abstract

Predmetom diplomovej práce bola architektonická štúdia návrhu obnovy augustiniánskeho kláštora Šternberk. Objekt je vo vlastníctve mesta, ktorého úlohou je vytvárať pre opátstvo nové funkcie a využitie. Mesto plány na výstavbu kláštora nekonkretizovalo, išlo skôr o víziu budúcnosti a objavenie nových možností. Na základe analýzy jestvujúcej domény sa vyvodia závery o využití nových funkcií. Opátstvo je centrálne umiestnené a je prevádzkovo a štrukturálne prepojené s rímskokatolíckym kostolom Zvěstování Panny Marie. Ku kláštoru patrí aj záhrada, ktorá je v súčasnosti neprístupná a nevyužívaná. V pláne je revitalizácia záhrady a vybudovanie podzemného parkoviska, ktoré bude slúžiť kláštoru a mestu. Záhrada bude prístupná verejnosti a zároveň umožní prístup do inej časti mesta. Oživenie kláštora a jeho záhrad by malo lokalitu zatraktívniť a pritiahnuť ľudí do mesta. Cieľom návrhu je vytvorenie kvalitného verejného prostredia v historickom jadre mesta Šternberk.The subject of the diploma thesis was an architectural study of the restoration proposal of the Augustinian monastery Šternberk. The building is owned by the city, whose task is to create new functions and uses for the abbey. The city did not concretize the plans for the construction of the monastery, it was more about a vision of the future and the discovery of new possibilities. Based on the analysis of the existing domain, conclusions are drawn about the use of new functions. The abbey is centrally located and is operationally and structurally connected to the Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. The monastery also has a garden, which is currently inaccessible and unused. The plan is to revitalize the garden and build an underground parking lot that will serve the monastery and the city. The garden will be open to the public and at the same time will allow access to another part of the city. Revival of the monastery and its gardens should make the location more attractive and attract people to the city.
