Prolínání světla a prostoru vyjádřené tvorbou a výroky realizujících architektů a umělců

Abstract

Tento příspěvek věnuje pozornost vztahu prostoru a světla v architektuře vyjádřenému zamyšleními k vybraným výrokům slavných architektů a umělců, např. Louise Kahna, Juhaniho Pallasmaay a Césara Portely, v souvislosti s několika realizacemi architektů Tadaa Andóa, Pekky Pitkänena, Petera Zumthora, Annette Gigon a Mikea Guyera a volného uměleckého sdružení United Visual Artists. Světlo jako tvůrce prostoru a jako zprostředkovatel kontaktu člověka se světem je ilustrováno na příkladech kostela Světla v Ibaraki, kaple Svatého kříže v Turku, muzea umění Kolumba v Kolíně nad Rýnem, Kirchnerova muzea v Davosu, instalace Momentum a památníku k poctě anglickému matematikovi Alanu Turingovi v Londýně.This paper examines the relationship of space and light in architecture as it has been expressed in the reflections of famous architects and artists, such as Louis Kahn, Juhani Pallasmaa and César Portela, together with selected architectural realizations by Tadao Ando, Pekka Pitkänen, Peter Zumthor, Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer, and United Visual Artists. The concept of light as a creator of space and a means by which humans make contact with the physical world is illustrated in the Church of the Light in Ibaraki, the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Turku, the Kolumba Art Museum of the Archdiocese of Cologne, the Kirchner Museum in Davos, Momentum in London, and a memorial to the English mathematician Alan Turing, also in London.
