Abstract
Náměstí města Brna se významnou měrou podílejí na celkovém fungování a atraktivnosti centrální části města. Prochází jimi hlavní komunikační tepny a jsou nedílnou součástí společenského a kulturního dění nejen samotného města Brna, ale i celého regionu. Článek se zaměřuje na zkoumání prostorových vztahů vybraných brněnských a rakouských náměstí historického jádra města.
Squares of the city of Brno are involved in the overall functioning and attractivity of the central part of town. It passes through their major axes of communication and are an integral part of social and cultural life not only the city of Brno, but the entire region. The paper is focused on the exploration spatial relationships selected historical square in Brno and the Austrian.
