Abstract
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá monitorováním Kubernetes clusterů s využitím open-source nástrojů. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza dostupných řešení pro monitorování v produkčním prostředí, návrh a implementace integrovaného monitorovacího stacku a ověření jeho účinnosti na skutečných infrastrukturních problémech. V rámci práce byl nasazen stack zahrnující VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki a Promtail, Node Exporter, Linkerd, DCGM exporter a Hubble s Cilium. Výsledkem je komplexní monitorovací řešení poskytující rychlou detekci problémů a hluboký vhled do výkonu aplikací i infrastruktury.
This thesis deals with monitoring Kubernetes clusters using open-source tools. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze available monitoring solutions in production environments, design and implement an integrated monitoring stack and verify its effectiveness on real infrastructure problems. The stack deployed in this work includes VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki and Promtail, Node Exporter, Linkerd, DCGM exporter and Hubble with Cilium. The result is a comprehensive monitoring solution providing rapid problem detection and deep insight into application and infrastructure performance.

Student nejprve prezentoval výsledky, kterých dosáhl v rámci své práce. Komise se poté seznámila s hodnocením vedoucího a posudkem oponenta práce. Student následně odpověděl na otázky oponenta a na další otázky přítomných, např. ohledně praktického použití systému, typu provozovaných aplikací či způsobu získávání a zpracování provozních dat. Komise se na základě posudku oponenta, hodnocení vedoucího, přednesené prezentace a odpovědí studenta na položené otázky rozhodla práci hodnotit stupněm B - velmi dobře.
