Abstract
The aim of this work is to create an autonomous program setting up the reflection plane of a floodlight according to the reference template. The reference template is gained taking the image of the reference floodlight. The brightness value in a given spot and the edge intensity of the transition of the lit and unlit part is also gained from the reference floodlight. All these parameters are measured using the set up floodlight in order to determine its properties. The entrance into the program is the image of the floodlight projected onto a shield and scanned by a camera. A webcam in USB was used for testing. The program was created in the LabView programming environment. The image of the camera was gained using the Ivision libraries. The automatic classification of parameters needed to set up the floodlight was created using the IMAQ libraries. The individual parameter measurements were created as subprograms and were used in the main program. The output of the program is the True/False parameter, which determines if the given floodlight meets the tolerances and if it is correctly set up.
