Abstract

This paper introduces and examines the effects of AC losses in the stator winding of high-speed interior permanent magnet synchronous machines. With a particular focus on usage in electrical vehicles. Using the finite element method. This paper describes how eddy effects influence conductors on the basis of their material and position in the stator slot. For the purpose of optimization of EV drives.
