dc.description.abstractThis article deals with the issue of electrification of agricultural operations in the fields, with emphasis on the analysis of the energy balance in agriculture. The key energy inputs are identified, which are divided into renewable and non-renewable sources, while the possibility of their optimization is explored. The article looks at direct and indirect energy consumption in agriculture and analyses the impact of factors such as weather conditions or technological practices on the overall energy intensity. Furthermore, the possibilities of reducing energy consumption through modern technologies are evaluated, including the use of electrified variants of agricultural machinery. On the basis of the analyses carried out, measures to increase the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production are proposed.en
