This paper deals with the issue of current imbalances between paralleled MOS-FETs and paralleled inverter legs in high-current power inverters. The mechanisms causing the current imbalances are examined while providing an overview of possible solutions. The theory of a current balancing transformer is presented, for which numerical simulations and verification measurements are done.en
