dc.description.abstractInspirací při řešení studentských kolejí a menzy bylo místo samo. Nábřeží řeky evokuje lodě a tak prvotní myšlenka byla ztroskotaný koráb, vyvrhnutá loď na břehu. To bylo i jedním z důvodů výběru materiálu Cortenu – přirozeně rezivějící oceli, jako dominantního a estetického materiálu fasády tak, aby vypadal jako trup staré lodi, z níž se tyčí jako stožár strohý betonový monoblok - jako takový dům vyrůstající z domu.cs
dc.description.abstractInspiration for designig students dormitory and canteen was the place itself. Riverbank evokes a ships that’s why the first idea was wrecked ship on the shore. It was also one of the reasons why is material Corten used on facade. Naturally rusting steel as the dominant like an old ship’s hull. Big mast of concrete monoblok rises from the hull as the house growing up out of the house – out of the old ship wreck.en
