dc.description.abstractBeside the most common miniature circuit breakers and RCDs, a protection equipment against arc-faults is widely spreading in recent years. Some manufacturers developed devices, which contain an Arc-fault Detection Devices (AFDD) and residual circuit breakers with overload protection (RCBO). This equipment protects against most common faults along with the arc-faults. This paper focuses on developing a display panel, where this unique technology can be presented to the wide public, using simulations of short circuit, ground connection and serial arc-fault applied on widely used protection switchgear. For enhanced exhibition, the panel will be equipped with an electronic-controlled lighting.en
