ASHQAR, G. Vliv drsnosti povrchu na optické vlastnosti obráběných materiálů [online]. Brno: Vysoké učení technické v Brně. Fakulta strojního inženýrství. 2022.
In his thesis, Mr. Ashqar Ghaith deals with prototype samples that will be used for studying the influence of surface roughness on optical properties of mechanical components. The thesis itself is divided into practical and theoretical part, organization and structure is logical and clear to understand. 44 references were used. The student was keen and proactive on his work. Practical part was well prepared. Prototypes were designed with great care, student was flexible when cooperating with optical R. & D. team of Meopta - optika, s.r.o. The samples were manufactured and measured in cooperation with Meopta - optika, s.r.o. as well. Student did good job evaluating the samples, comparing with theory and making conclusions. All goals were met and results are clearly presented. Because of that I recommend this thesis for the final exam.
This bachelor thesis is focused on influence of roughness parameters on optical properties of machined surfaces and is divided on theoretical and practical part. Problematic of stray light, turning process and surface roughness is described in the theoretical part. Practical part is focused on turning of aluminium alloy when the different cutting conditions were set up. The monitoring parameter was surface roughness and their influence to the optical properties of machined surfaces. 44 book and electronic sources were used in this thesis. All goals have been met and therefore I recommend this thesis to the final exam.
