In the beginning of thesis elaboration author presented an idea when he planned to use the case of small existing company as well. The final version of work does not work with that. Consulting was used mainly in the finalization of work, not regularly since the beginning. This approach resulted in more general concept of the bachelor thesis. Author has managed to define the structure of analyzed market relatively well, but without information about the size of market. Formulated proposal is good base for further consideration about potential development of new company in this industry. Questions Explain conclusions of SWOT analysis and used methodology in your work. How would you realize cost analysis supporting the idea of cost focus strategy? How do you want to develop “flexibility” mentioned as potential important aspect of competitive behavior of new company?

The goal of the thesis was proposal of competitive strategy of the small company within the elevator industry. I evaluate the goal fullfilled. There are performed basic analysis of the external factors (SLEPT) and also well performed comparison of the simplified business models (based on Business model Canvas) of the big and medium sized companies within the elevator industry. This comparison is a primary base for the new small company strategy proposal. The strategy proposal is made in the form of Business model CANVAS again. This is good for comparison to the models of big and mid sized companies. On the other hand each and every part of the model could be processed deeper. Also rough financial plan should have been made. The thesis is on appropriate professional level and I recommend it for the defence.
