The submitted diploma thesis was conceived as a sumarizing and research work. Thematically, it is an interdisciplinary field of nonlinear dynamical systems and information theory. Application-wise, it is a modern studied issue in the field of cryptographic security of the messages using deterministic chaos, i.e. synchronized chaotic oscillators. I find the topic of this work difficult due to the graduate's studies. The student worked independently and incorporated notes from the tutor. I consider the result of the work to be well done and evaluate it with the mark C - good.

The presented diploma thesis is focused on the phenomenon of deterministic chaos with an application to secure communication in the sense of cybersecurity. The work was mostly of a research nature, sometimes with a practical part in the form of a computer simulation. I would consider that part as a weaker part of the work. As far as I can tell, the work is excellent both stylistically and linguistically. The graduate had to prove her orientation in a topic that she could not cover during her studies. I appreciate, she had to study it herself. I consider the work to be good to very good and I recommend this thesis for the defence with the grade C.
