Nová sklárna v Květné

Abstract

Projekt se zabývá revitalizací historického areálu sklárny v Květné, místní části obce Strání, která se nachází v chráněné krajinné oblasti Bílých Karpat poblíž hranic se Slovenskem. Sklárna má více než stoletou tradici výroby foukaného skla a významně formovala charakter i identitu této části obce. Vzhledem k postupnému útlumu výroby a přirozenému vývoji provozu se dnes potýká s řadou nevyužitých či funkčně nevyhovujících objektů. Návrh si klade za cíl areál nově uspořádat a rozvíjet jej jako kulturně-průmyslový celek s důrazem na kvalitní veřejný prostor, návaznost na okolní zástavbu a harmonické propojení výroby, prezentace a komunitního života. Řešení vychází z respektu k lokálním hodnotám, historii místa a stávající architektuře, přičemž navržené zásahy posilují potenciál sklárny jako živé součásti obce i regionu. Ve své práci se zabývám návrhem nových expozičních a reprezentativních prostorů stávající sklárny a zároveň optimalizuji prostory výroby a zpracování foukaného.The project deals with the revitalization of the historical glassworks in Květná, a local part of the municipality of Strání, located in the protected landscape area of the White Carpathians near the border with Slovakia. The glassworks has a tradition of more than a century of blown glass production and has significantly shaped the character and identity of this part of the village. Due to the gradual decline in production and the natural evolution of operations, it is now faced with a number of unused or functionally inadequate buildings. The proposal aims to re-organise the site and develop it as a cultural and industrial complex, with an emphasis on high quality public space, continuity with the surrounding built environment and a harmonious blend of production, presentation and community life. The solution is based on respect for local values, the history of the site and the existing architecture, while the proposed interventions reinforce the potential of the glassworks as a living part of the village and the region. In my work, I am designing new exhibition and representation spaces for the existing glassworks, while optimising the blown production and processing areas.
