Abstract

This paper deals with detection and visualization of blood vessels pulsation in retinal sequences. Absence of blood vessels pulsation can help to identify different diseases, including brain tumor and glaucoma. The proposed method uses principal component analysis to analyze variability in video sequences which include blood vessels pulsations. First results show that this approach can be used for robust visualization of retinal vein pulsation.
