Abstract
At the beginning of the 21st century, architects and urban designers look for solutions that would preserve architectural heritage and historical values and at the same time eliminate land utilization with negative impacts on landscape; they consider economic use of resources and they can be a positive influence on sustainable development. In this process, education of architects and urban designers in the context of sustainable development plays a significant role.
