Zkáza Titaniku z materiálového hlediska

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o zkáze Titaniku, a to zejména z materiálového hlediska. Obsahuje shrnutí poznatků o plavbě a potopení, charakteristiku materiálu trupu Titaniku a porovnání tehdejšího materiálu s materiály současnými. Práce dále popisuje zkoušení materiálu Charpyho zkouškou rázem v ohybu, její historický vývoj a vyhodnocení této zkoušky na zkušebních vzorcích z trupu lodi Titanik. V neposlední řadě se zabývá také chybami v konstrukci lodi a důsledky celé katastrofy.This bachelor work deals with the Titanic destruction especially of the material terms. It contains a summary of findings of the voyage and sinking, characteristics of the Titanic's hull material and the comparison then the material with current material. The work also describes material testing by Charpy impact tests and its historical development and evaluation of tests on specimens of the Titanic hull. Finally, also deals with design flaws of the ship's structure and results of all disaster.
