Návrh udržitelné městské struktury v českém kulturním prostředí

Abstract

Zadáním diplomové práce je návrh revitalizace a vytvoření udržitelné struktury města Dolní Kounice v rámci urbanistické studie. Město má dlouhou historii a je rozděleno na severní a jižní část protékající řekou Jihlavou. Koncepční urbanistická studie řeší revitalizaci většiny území jižního břehu, kde se nachází historické jádro města, s důrazem na respektování a posílení genia loci místa. Výsledkem návrhu v řešeném území je primárně zkvalitnění veřejných prostranství (náměstí, předprostor významných historických památek a břehu řeky) a výstavba několika objektů v různých lokalitách. Cílem je vytvořit kompaktní polyfunkční strukturu s kvalitními veřejnými prostory, kde bude preferována pěší a cyklistická doprava, zahušťováním stávající zástavby namísto rozšiřování města do okolní krajiny.The task of the thesis is to design the revitalization and creation of a sustainable structure of of Dolní Kounice within the framework of an urban study. The town has a long history and is divided into northern and southern parts flowing through the Jihlava River. The conceptual urban study addresses the revitalisation of most of the southern bank area, where the historic centre of the town is located, with an emphasis on respecting and strengthening the genius loci of the place. The design in the area under consideration primarily results in the improvement of public spaces (squares, the forecourt of important historical monuments and the riverbank) and the construction of several buildings in different locations. The aim is to create a compact multifunctional structure with high quality public spaces, where pedestrians and cyclists will be preferred, by densifying the existing buildings instead of expanding the city into the surrounding landscape.
