Hana Urbášková se věnuje trvale udržitelnému rozvoji venkova a ekologickým aspektům v architektuře a urbanismu. Její práce zahrnuje výzkum a návrhy ekologických řešení pro venkovská sídla, stejně jako pedagogickou činnost na Fakultě architektury VUT v Brně.
