Abstract

Today's aircraft propulsion development is moving towards the use of electric power units. One possibility is the use of distributed propulsion, i.e., several independent power units located on the wing. An example is the NASA X-57 Maxwell experimental aircraft. This thesis focuses on the study of the effect of this unconventional propulsion configuration on the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft.

The student gave the presentation of her thesis. Evaluation of the supervisor and the reviewer were read and opponent's question which the student answered. In the discussion, initial comments and questions were related to the presentation, graphics. Further discussion was about the wing tunnel measurement used as reference to calculations in the thesis, electric propulsion. Student answered well.
