Abstract
Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou mechanického chování synchronního generátoru a posouzením možnosti snížení hmotnosti kostry generátoru. Cílem práce bylo provést deformačně napěťovou a modální analýzu konkrétního modelu synchronního generátoru, posouzení vlivu jednotlivých prvků kostry generátoru na její celkovou tuhost a návrh konstrukčních úprav kostry generátoru, které povedou ke snížení její hmotnosti.
This Master’s thesis deals with analysis of mechanical behaviour of the synchronous generator and assessment of the possibility of reducing the mass of the frame of the generator. The aims of this work were: to perform the stress-strain analysis and modal analysis of the required model of the synchronous generator, to assessment influence of single part of the frame of the generator over its stiffness and design construction modification of the frame of the generator, which reduce its mass.

Diplomant seznámil všechny členy komise během cca 15 min. se svojí diplomovou prací a poté odpovídal na otázky oponenta, školitele a dalších členů komise. Diplomant bez problémů prezentoval připravenou obhajobu a rovněž rychle a vhodně reagoval na další otázky zkoušející komise.
