Abstract
Práca sa zaoberá návrhom novej budovy mestskej Galérie v Litomyšli. Návrh sa odvíja od urbanistických súvislostí a rozsiahlych analýz, z ktorých som si vybrala vhodné miesto pre galériu- pozemok pri Ľudovom dome. Je to totiž priestor, kde sa spája historické centrum s bývaním, obchodmi a rekreáciou. Snažila som sa dostať galériu medzi bežných ľudí a vyťahujem ju zo zaužívaných stereotypov formálnej budovy ako monumentu v samom srdci mesta. Usádzam ju naopak na rozhranie obytnej štvrte, kde sa hlavne domáci ľudia nachádzajú omnoho častejšie.
The proposal of my bachelor project is the design of a new building of the City Gallery in Litomyšl. The matter concept of the building is based on urban contexts and analyzes of the structure of Litomyšl, from which I chose and suitable place for the purpose. It is land near the People's House. In this place historical center, housing, shops and recreations are united. It is the crossroad of the main functions of the city. I was trying to get a gallery closer to the ordinary people and pulling it out of the usual stereotypes of a formal building and a monument in the very heart of the city. Instead, I placed the gallery on the edge of residential housing, which mainly inhabitants are passing by.
