Abstract

Urbanistická studie diplomová práce řeší efektivnější využití areálu brněnského výstaviště v dlouhodobějším časovém horizontu. Přirozené hranice areálu v údolní nivě tvoří na severovýchodě ulice Hlinky se Žlutým kopcem, z jihozápadu pak ulice Bauerova vedoucí podél řeky Svratky. Díky své poloze nedaleko centra města i přímému napojení na pražskou magistrálu je významným místem ideálním pro návrh funkcí nadměstského významu. Snahou je otebřít areál celoročně věřejnosti a nabídnout jí různorodé celoroční i celodenní funkční využit. Snahou je na místo přilákat co nejvíce lidí, kteří se budou rádi vracet. Původní ideou je dotvoření struktury celého území novou zástavbou v západní části s ohledem na původní urbanistický koncept os jdoucích od pavilonu A. Řešené území je rozšleněno do čtyř hlavních funkčních zón - výstavnictví, sport a rekreace, práce a vzdělání a kultura. Doplňující funkcí je bydlení a zázemí pro potřeby výstaviště i dalších firem.. Z dopravního hlediska je kladen důraz na chodce, cyklisty a zklidněný charakter motorové dopravy. Areál protíná několik pěších tras spojujících ulice Hlinky a Bauerovu. Je navržen také most pro pěší a cyklisty, který vede až za řeku skrz areál Riviéra.Urban study thesis deals with the more efficient utilization of the Brno Exhibition Centre in the longer term.
