Abstract
Táto diplomová práca sa zameriava na transformáciu čiastočne opustenej industriálnej zóny nachádzajúcej sa vo Varšave. Ide o bývalý priemyselný areál, ktorý bol v minulosti celý venovaný výrobe prefabrikovaných betónových panelov pre bytovú výstavbu. V dôsledku zmeny trendov továreň ukončila svoju činnosť a od 90. rokov je väčšinou nevyužívaná a chátra. Cieľom projektu bolo navrhnúť novú mestskú štvrť, ktorá spĺňa požiadavky súčasného urbanizmu a zároveň s rešpektom nadväzuje na existujúcu štruktúru formovanú industriálnou minulosťou územia.
This master thesis focuses on the transformation of a semi-abandoned industrial zone located in Warsaw. The site is a former industrial park once dedicated entirely to the production of prefabricated concrete panels for housing. As trends shifted over time, the factory stopped operating and has been mostly unused and deteriorating since the 1990s. The aim of the project was to design a new urban district that meets the needs of actual urban planning while respectfully building upon the existing structure shaped by the site’s industrial past.
