Plant based approach(phytoremediation)standssecondtononeamongbioremediationtechnologiesmeantforsustainablecleanupofsoils/siteswithmetal-contamination.Inturn,thecapacityofplantstotoleratepotentialconsequencescausedbytheextracted/accumulatedmetalsdecidestheeffectivenessandsuccessofphytoremediationsystem.
