DŮM NA ÚPATÍ - MĚSTSKÝ DŮM V HISTORICKÉM CENTRU BRNA

Abstract

V sevření ulic Pekařské a Anenské, nedaleko historického centra Brna, se nachází nezastavěná parcela trojúhelníkového půdorysu. Parcela má specifickou složitou topografií a nesourodou okolní zástavbu. Navržený objekt reaguje na urbánní souvislosti v území a dotváří tak v současné době rozbitý blok budov. Jelikož se jedná o důležitou pohledovou osu z ulice Pekařská, směřující do centra města, je na nároží umístěn dominantní a vizuálně přitažlivý blok galerie. Umístění galerie právě sem má svou podstatu. Unikátní řešení totiž doplňuje galerijní trio. Směrem na západ je navázáno na osu Mendlovo náměstí, kde se nachází Muzeum J. G. Mendela. Osou na opačné straně je ulice Husova, kde má své prostory Uměleckoprůmyslové muzeum a Pražákův palác spadající pod Moravskou galerii.In the grip of streets and Ann's Bakery, near the historical center of Brno, is undeveloped plot of triangular shape.
