Abstract
V roku 2024 Úrad geodézie, kartografie a katastra Slovenskej republiky obstaral gravimetrický model kvazigeoidu novej generácie GMSQ2024A.
In 2024, the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Authority of the Slovak Republic procured a new-generation gravimetric model of the quasi-geoid, GMSQ2024A. Based on testing at points of the National Spatial Network (ŠPS), it was marked as the most suitable among several quasi-geoid models for the territory of Slovakia. The calculation was based on the most recent available digital terrain model, DMR5.0. The GMSQ2024A quasi-geoid was not fitted in any way. Based on the validation of the quasi-geoid by its author, it was recommended that, for correct application, at least the mean value obtained from the validation, approximately -0.54 m, should be subtracted from it, or an appropriate fitting technique should be used. Considering previous analyses and the nature of the differences between the Baltic vertical system after adjustment (Bpv), which partially influences the GMSQ2024A quasi-geoid, and the new national realization of the EVRS height system in Slovakia, it was decided to proceed with the fitting of the GMSQ2024A quasi-geoid. A set of 56 GNSS/leveling points was used for the fitting, consisting of ŠPS points based on selected criteria. The emphasis in the selection was placed mainly on the stability of the points. The result is the fitted quasi-geoid model, DMQSK2024-E, which allows for a reliable conversion between ellipsoidal and normal heights in the national realization of the EVRS height system with an accuracy of better then 1.9 cm.
