Abstract

Island je z pohledu cestovatelů rájem na zemi, ale z pohledu obyvatelnosti už tomu tak není. Do hry přichází množství faktorů, jako je těžká dostupnost stavebních materiálů, malá hustota obydlení nebo nevyvážená délka dne a noci v průběhu měsíců, což má nemalé důsledky i na psychický stav obyvatel. Projekt si bere pod drobnohled právě poslední zmíněný problém. V návrhu malé jednoduché rodinné farmy se snaží objevit principy, jak s nedostatkem nebo přemírou světla bojovat a zároveň řešit otázky současné teorie architektury a zhmotňovat problém části a celku.In the eyes of a traveller, Iceland seems to be a paradise on earth, but in the eyes of an inhabitant, it doesn't seem so clear. A number of factors come into play, such as the difficult availability of building materials, low population density or the unbalanced length of day and night during the months, which also has considerable consequences for the mental state of the population. The project takes into account the last mentioned problem. In the design of a simple family farm, the project tries to discover the basic principles of how to fight the lack or excess of daylight and at the same time solve questions of contemporary theory of architecture and materialize the problem of part and whole relationships.
