Obnova a nové využití Svatotomášského dvora v Brně

Abstract

Svatotomášský dvůr vznikl v letech 1358-1370 na ulici Veveří v městě Brně. Lokalita, na níž se rozkládal, je shodá s jeho dnešní podobou. V roce 1883-1885 zde byly přistaveny nové objekty v historizujícím slohu. Nové funkční řešení se snaží reagovat na potřeby volnočasových aktivit studentů z okolních škol. Celý areál je řešen jako sportovně- kulturní centrum. Ve stávajících objektech budou v jedné části klubovny, dále pak v hlavní budově administrativní prostory a v delším křídle bude restaurace spojená s nově vybudovaným objektem, kde bude bowling. Hlavním architektonickým záměrem bylo především ponechat přírodní charakter celého území. V mém návrhu jsem chtěla především zachovat stavební podstatu staveb s citlivým dotvořením areálu. Proto jsem přiřadila novému objektu jednoduchou formu a celoprosklenou fasádou, v které by se odrážely stávající objekty. Pozemek za těmito objekty bych upravila na sportovní hřiště tak, aby zůstal přírodní charakter s ponecháním vzrostlých stromů.St. Thomas yard was founded within years 1358-1370 on the street Veveří in the Brno. Its recent location its the same like when it was fouded. Within years 1883-1885 a few new objects were built here in historicist style. New functional sollution is trying to react on the freetime activities demand of students from schools near here. Whole compound is solved as sport-cultural centre. In the current objects there will be clubrooms, in the main building there will be office space. Restaurant in the longer wing will be joined with a bowling in the newly built object. The main architectonic purpose was to keep the natural character of whole area. The most important thing in my proposition was to preserve the structural nature of the objects with the sensitive completion of the compound. That is why I used just simple shapes and all-glass facade, in which the current objects will be mirrored. The area behind these objects would be remade to playground with an intention to keep the natural character of the area with grown trees.
