Adam Guzdek se věnuje obnově památek a architektonickým detailům staveb z druhé poloviny 20. století. Jeho výzkum zahrnuje dokumentaci a analýzu architektonických prvků a detailů, stejně jako pedagogickou činnost na Fakultě stavební VUT v Brně.
