Abstract
The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is the development of project documentation for a newly designed nearly zero-energy detached family house. The house is intended for a family of four and includes a tattoo studio for one of the family members. It is designed as two functionally independent units connected by a shared wall, allowing for internal access while maintaining privacy between the residential and work areas. The building is situated in the modern municipality of Krokočín, in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic. It is oriented to the south. The structure features a partial basement, two above-ground floors with a double garage, covered with flat green roofs insulated using ISOVER EPS polystyrene. The vertical load-bearing system consists of masonry walls made from Porotherm ceramic blocks, insulated with EPS GREYWALL. Horizontal load-bearing elements are reinforced concrete ceiling beams with blocks.. The house is founded on concrete strip footings. The project drawings were created using Revit software. The complete project documentation includes a fire safety report, foundation and structural load calculations, as well as technical assessments covering thermal performance, heat loss, acoustics, and daylighting.

Defence
The student presented her work “Family house with tattoo studio”, using a PowerPoint presentation. During the defence of the thesis, she stated:
- Building solution,
- Underground, first and second floor plan,
- Section A-A,
- Structural system of the object,
- Load-bearing structures and their connection at different levels,
- Materials solution,
- View at building,
The student further clarified and answered the questions and comments of the opponent of the thesis:
1. According to which methodology was the accumulation tank and infiltration structure designed? For what reason are two retention tanks placed on the plot?
2. 1S Floor plan – How will the connection of sanitary appliances to the public sewer network be resolved (the horizontal sewer will be approx. -3.3 m below ground at the highest point)?
3. Floor Plan 1NP – Entrance door – What type of door frame is proposed, and what is the clear width of the main entrance door? The lintel placement is not indicated.
4. Section A–A – Basement part of the building – What type of hydro-physical stress is considered here? Reinforced concrete slabs are indicated in the sections, but the ceilings are actually designed as precast.
5. Ceilings – Who designed the ceilings? It appears to be an initial design by the company Best (part of DEK Group a.s.) for the purposes of preparing a price offer using their software (the layout plan was created for pricing purposes and does not serve as execution documentation. This documentation must be approved by the project designer). The ceiling design above the area with the three-flight staircase is missing.
6. Details – Detail E – the window placement in the detail does not correspond to the window placement in floor plan 1S. Detail D – the shape of the bond beam does not match the proposed shape in the sections. In general, all details are taken from the DEK database. The opponent has no objections to the use of these details, but the student must understand the design principles of the specific construction details.
7) The student shall explain this waterproofing detail – justify why this solution was chosen and describe the main advantages of this approach.
Finally, further questions were submitted by the members of the Examination Committee:
- Can you show the shut and measurement of water? Where and how must be placed?
