Abstract
Účelem této bakalářské práce je zpracovat ucelený a odborný text, použitelný jako příručka či učební pomůcka pro vysokoškolské studenty i širokou veřejnost. Zaměření této práce je na kosmický segment systému GPS, popis jeho složení, představení funkce a princip poskytování navigačních služeb. Pro úplné pochopení náležitých souvislostí je v práci obsažen i rozbor zbývajících segmentů tohoto systému a ostatních zástupců moderních GNSS.
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a comprehensive and specialized text that can serve as a manual or educational aid for university students as well as the general public. The focus of this thesis is on the cosmic segment of the GPS system, including a description of its components, an explanation of its functions, and the principles underlying the provision of navigation services. In order to ensure a complete understanding of the relevant context, the thesis also includes an analysis of the remaining segments of the system and other representatives of modern GNSS.
