To sum up within her PhD studies, Veronika Šoková has achieved multiple original research results. She has showed creativity and capability of independent work on both advanced conceptual ideas as well as complex implementation and experimental validation of these ideas. She has also showed to be able to work on collaborative research projects and to cooperate with both local as well as foreign researchers. In my opinion, the thesis of Veronika Šoková satisfies requirements usually associated with PhD thesis in the area of computer science, and therefore I recommend it to be accepted.

Posudek oponenta

For all the reasons exposed above, I consider that the thesis and the student´s achievements until now meet the generally accepted requirements for the award of an academic degree (in accordance with Section 47 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on higher education institution).

Kofroň, Jan

To conclude, I consider the thesis very well written and its contributions solid. Its extent, the frequent illustrating examples, as well as the level of details make the text well accessible even to people being no experts in the field. Despite minor and very rare language mistakes, the language of the thesis is on a very good level, and fulfils the standards in the field. The topic of the thesis belongs to a very active research field and is highly appropriate for the doctoral study program of the student. The goals of the thesis have been achieved, and the quality of the corresponding implementation has been evaluated on a number of benchmarks comparing it against other state-of-the-art tools. I consider the contributions highly relevant to the current development in the field of software verification, and I have no doubts as to their significance. Also, the results have been published at renowned international conferences; this includes especially those related to the tools, which I consider very important for reproducibility and potential validation of the reported results. The student has clearly demonstrated her ability of independent research work, and has achieved internationally recognised results. Generally, the thesis meets standard requirements on doctoral theses in the given field, and thus I strongly recommend granting the doctoral degree to Veronika.
