Stevan Gavranovic has been working on his dissertation since 2021 as a full-time student. Throughout this time, he has been involved in both scientific and pedagogical activities. Since the beginning of his doctoral studies (9/2021), he has been working as a researcher in the field of perovskite-based optoelectronic devices and touch sensor research. In collaboration with the CNR (National Research Council of Italy in Catania), he has been working since 2024 on the characterization of the optical properties of perovskites crystals ad thin films (ellipsometry) and perovskite-based detectors. He has been the principal investigator or co-investigator of three projects: the JCMM "Brno PhD Talent" project (2021-2024) and two inter-faculty projects (FEEC, FME). During his studies, he received four Dean's Awards for publishing and conference participation, he also presented seven times at international conferences, and once abroad in Spain. I consider his greatest contribution to be seven publications in foreign journals, the last of which is not included in the list of theses because it was published in July 2025 in Physics Communication (Nature). He also had a number of contributions in the proceedings of domestic and international conferences (e.g. Chemistry and Life, ICNAAM, Thermophysics). He took the prescribed exams in accordance with the set plan and passed the state final exam within two years of starting his doctoral studies. He completed his dissertation on time. In addition to his scientific work Ing. Stevan Gavranovic was also involved in teaching activities, namely in the subject of Practical Physics and in supervising bachelor's and master's theses. Based on the above, I recommend that the dissertation prepared by Ing. Stevan Gavranovic be submitted for defense in the study program "Chemistry, Technology, and Properties of Materials" and that he be awarded the title of Ph.D. upon successful defense.
