Zich, Robert

The author has chosen an unconventional topic and handles it very well. I positively evaluate the fact that he uses tools for the development of business ideas. Equally positive is the fact that this topic is a continuation of the project he dealt with during his studies. The material presented is a useful basis for the university to work with in the future. The project will be further developed and it would be useful for the author to be able to participate in the project.   Questions The research was dominated by FBM students. How much does this misrepresent the outputs and how can this possibly be addressed? When would you see other sources of funding for this platform if it cannot be supported by internal resources? What topics and format to choose for communicating with employees if the intention is to foster their interest in ecosystem development?

Splnění stanovených cílů C The objectives are defined in a standard way in the structure of the main objective and partial objectives for the theoretical, analytical and design part. The topic is solved in relation to the real assignment of a specific educational institution. The fulfilment of the objectives is at a good level.
Zvolený postup řešení, adekvátnost použitých metod C The author chooses appropriate approaches to solve the problem. The definition of the methodology is quite basic, but it corresponds to the requirements set for bachelor theses. In the research part the author relies on appropriate qualitative approaches such as interview or focus group. The theoretical part is mainly based on the definition of appropriate approaches used in the development of start up companies and idea development approaches. The author also addresses the issue of online community development as a factor supporting the development of start up and entrepreneurial ideas. The summary evaluation focuses on defining the stages of platform development. More space could be devoted to the possible forms of these platforms from a general knowledge perspective.
Schopnost interpretovat dosažené výsledky a vyvozovat z nich závěry C The introductory part of the analysis describes the basic plans of the institution and the external influences creating pressure to support the development of the start-up community. Given the scope of this section, it would be useful to add a brief summary of what these imply.Similarly, a description of the current state of affairs at the BUT could be evaluated. Again, there is only an overview of activities without a deeper evaluation. The overview of the activities at the selected universities is complemented by a brief summary of strengths and weaknesses. The author could have better explained what the selection criteria were for the institutions evaluated. The next section evaluates the communication channels at the BUT. This evaluation is more of an overview of the channels used. The research conducted by means of questionnaires, focus groups and individual interviews is very well presented. These results can be considered very useful for the development of activities at the university. Another positive aspect here is that the author himself has experience in community development and is thus able to make an informed assessment of the results presented. Unfortunately, the summary evaluation of the analytical part is very brief and thus does not utilise the potential of the quality data and information obtained through the research.
Praktická využitelnost výsledků B The presented framework for platform development is built using the lean Canvas approach. The developed proposal is undoubtedly a suitable material for the university to work with further. Less attention is paid to implementation and implementation conditions. However, this is more addressable from the university's perspective.
Uspořádání práce, formální náležitosti, použitá terminologie a odborná jazyková úroveň C Partial formal shortcomings include inconsistent graphics of inserted images, minor formatting deficiencies in headings, image descriptions - Figure 10 and formatting in the list of sources.
Práce s informačními zdroji, včetně citací B Partial deficiencies in the list of sources.

The main objective of the thesis is to design a framework for the development of an online networking platform for the development of student start-up companies in a university environment. This objective is fulfilled by the thesis. The analysis is based on a review of the current situation analysis of the entrepreneurship support at BUT and the benchmark of the networking platform at other universities in Czechia (MUNI) and abroad (CEMS and MIT). There are relevant points summarized for each networking platform observed. Finally, the is a validation qualitative research performed - interviews with students as well as academics focused on expectations related to networking. Also, the research gives relevant recommendations. Proposals are structured in LEAN CANVAS form and networking platform structure is proposed using the Discord platform as the first possible version of MVP. The proposals are well applicable to networking activities. The thesis is on a very good professional level. I recommend it for the defense.
