Bc. Čičátková approached her diploma thesis, entitled “New Tandem Methods of Water Treatment Using Electrochemical Oxidation and Photocatalysis for the Degradation of Micropollutants,” with diligence and a strong sense of responsibility. Following regular consultations, she was able to independently design, prepare, and successfully carry out the experimental work. The results she obtained are promising and, with further experimentation, hold potential for publication in internationally recognized scientific journals. Throughout the project, Bc. Čičátková demonstrated a highly positive attitude, not only toward the experimental aspects but also in writing the thesis itself. She engaged thoroughly with relevant literature and information sources, applying them effectively. Her understanding of the topic, combined with clear and stylistically sound writing, significantly contributed to the quality of the thesis. The results presented are in full alignment with the goals set for the diploma thesis. They are well described, consistently using appropriate terminology, and evaluated in the context of the current state of knowledge in the field. I fully recommend the diploma thesis be accepted for defense.

This well-written thesis presents a set of new and valuable results. The level of the presented results and their discussion clearly demonstrates the author's insight into the researched topic. From a technical point of view, this thesis has one minor issue: experimental details are lacking in the figure captions. This oversight slightly hinders the understanding of the presented results.
