During his doctoral studies, Ing. Jan Dorazil worked responsibly and independently. His research in the field of Bayesian filtering and tracking of structures in ultrasound data resulted in original algorithms that were successfully validated on real and synthetic datasets. An important part of his work was the collaboration with TU Wien, where he cooperated with the research group of Prof. Hlawatsch on methodological development, experimental validation, and presentation of results. This international cooperation improved the scientific quality and visibility of his work. The dissertation is of high quality in both methodological and implementation aspects. Ing. Dorazil has demonstrated strong theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in practice. In view of the quality and outcomes of his work, I fully recommend the dissertation for defense.
