This thesis deals with the comprehensive analysis and comparison of 2x2 antenna arrays build on two selected substrates and using various techniques of feeding antenna element. The student discussed the theory and design of the patch antenna as a representative array element and three selected variants of feeding techniques in detail. This part of the thesis is very clear and well written thus one can consider using it as a textbook for other students. Comparison of antenna array performance is based on well-defined quantities for a single element, array factor, and the array itself, which gives a very clear picture of the advantages and disadvantages of investigated structures. Those are summed up in context to practical usage at the end of the thesis. From a formal point of view, I have no objection. Actually, I would like to highlight the good written English and very good work with information sources. From my point of view, the goals of this thesis could be a bit more ambitious, but nevertheless, all the goals as defined by supervisors were achieved completely. I recommend this diploma thesis for defense.
