Posudky závěrečné kvalifikační práce

The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical background, which is based on scientific and expert literature and is subsequently used in the following chapters. The analytical part of the thesis describes and analyses the current situation in the selected company. To create it, the student based on structured interviews with employees and management of the company and complemented the analysis by creating a 7S analysis. The proposal part of the thesis contains all the necessary elements of the project, such as: the identification charter, WBS, stakeholder analysis, RACI matrix, risk analysis, time analysis and project budget. The chapter concludes with the expected benefits of the proposed solution. The thesis has met its objective and has practical applications.

The thesis and described project shows that digitalization projects are not change of paper flows into digital form, but shows how important it is to consider complete redesign of the processes to capture all benefits that digitalization can provide and to gain synergies for organizations. I appreciate practicality of this thesis as well quality and structure of Customer card process flow diagram which includes all key points of decision making and as well allow first round application development with most likely without additional functionality programing.

Otázky

A detailed risk analysis shows that one of the highest risks is from users refusal for change or fear from unknown. Was the number of interviewed sales people sufficient to identify their requirements and cover their expectations? How would you manage expectations of users to that are not covered in current project scope to keep the on board of the project? In the project there is reliance on the Proshore developers how difficult it would be to execute this project with another professional developer considering scope, time spend and budget? Describe how the budget and its reserve was established, especially given that programming costs tend to be high and are often exceeded? How is the upside budget risk addressed in the project? Is this project approach considered transferable to other digitisation initiatives?
