A very good engineering work devoted to production of automotive parts, its effectivity, planning, monitoring and control systems. The criterion Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as the ratio between the production achieved and the theoretical maximum production provides relevant information on the performance of a production line. The significant problem was that the production line is not a brand new technology with new cutting tools so there might be a lot of technical problems with the machine maintenance, power and precision at all, superimposing some drawbacks and aftereffects. However, Mr. Kolenič analysed all particular problems and offered suitable technical solutions that showed that they worked with success. He had to work in more demanding conditions due to world pandemic Covid-19 that rather complicated a standard collaboration. I fully recommend this thesis to the defence and state examinations.

The Master's Thesis deals with the optimisation of the machining process in order to increase the productivity of the production line in the Stellantis group on the DV engine cylinder block machining line. It is a very advanced Master's Thesis and processed at a high theoretical and practical level. Some typographical errors (for example numbering pictures and tables; in equation *; two name in graph; in some figure French language in main English text), worse image quality in theoretical part can be met in the work. The student drew on the materials needed for her work from literary, professional and electronic sources (a total of 31 literary sources), on which she also relies. I recommend this Master's Thesis to the defence.
