The aim of final theses was completed and is applicable into the daily routine and can be beneficial for a manager in a small company. Used methods were appropriately selected and implemented with regard to the aim of the final thesis, however their usage could be described more in detail. For statistical evaluation of gathered data were chosen content analysis of gained data from an interview with the manager and second CEO  of the company. However, student was able to come up with conclusions based on  gained data and propose very good suggestions of competency model for a selected job position of  a manager in a chosen particular environment. There is no time line  proposed. Student stated that he faced a lack of data, however it could be done at least in a format based on proposed activities with estimation of their duration.  Overall, the sources on which is this thesis based are relevant to the topic. However, concerning the formal processing there can be more variability and critical approach regarding theoretical background, some of chapters are based on a one source only.

The work is generally of a good standard and solves the problem accordingly. The author submits a complexly elaborated and balanced text. Likewise, a great positive is the focus on the development of competencies of the specific manager in the organization, which has the character of the small company in the given context. Defense questions:Explain specific features of the development of competencies of the manager in a small company.How do you perceive the difference between the competencies of the manager and the entrepreneur?How to evaluate the effectiveness of the development of competencies in this specific case?

The problem solved is identified by the information presented in the analytical part; it would be more appropriate to define the problem better in the introductory sections of the thesis. The objective of the work is fulfilled.
Zvolený postup řešení, adekvátnost použitých metod B The methodology of the analytical part is explained in the introduction only very briefly. The analytical part contains a more detailed explanation of the approach to the analysis of competencies. The selected approach to the elaboration of the analytical part corresponds with the solved problem. The theoretical part defines starting points for the area of management, competencies, competence models, and approaches to the development of the manager. These starting points cover solved issue to a sufficient extent. The author works with a broad spectrum of sources.The summary of theoretical starting points should be better developed in the context of the solved problem, i.e., to define better what and why is appropriate for situations in the selected company. Likewise, it would be advisable to pay more attention to the links resulting from the nature of the company – its size and focus.
Schopnost interpretovat dosažené výsledky a vyvozovat z nich závěry B The analytical part in the introductory part characterizes specific features of the organization and its manager. The process of the analysis of competencies is well-explained and the introductory outputs are clearly presented. The scope of the text and descriptive style in Chapter 2.4 are given, to a large extent, by the nature of the topic and chosen methodology; however, it would be advisable to consider also other forms of the presentation of the overview of competencies. The positive aspect is that at least the final competence model is illustrated as a table; nevertheless, it would be appropriate to divide the table into more parts.The summary of the analysis on the basis of all provided information briefly outlines competencies to be developed.  
Praktická využitelnost výsledků A The thesis proposal part has a clear structure and the characteristic of proposals is clearly defined in the introductory section of Chapter 3. I positively evaluate the variability of the plan and the concreteness of recommendations. In addition to three plans, the author clearly defines the recommended solution.

Práce s informačními zdroji B Partial deficiencies in the citations in the proposal part – tables with prices should indicate the source from which the prices are taken. At the same time, it should be emphasized that the source is apparent from the text part.
