Overall, the student has successfully completed a well-structured and meaningful bachelor’s thesis. She demonstrated strong understanding of the subject, applied relevant research methods, and developed a functional application aligned with the project goals. Her active engagement, consistent communication, and careful analysis contributed to the quality of the work. While there is room for further development, especially in expanding the user base and validating the tool more extensively, the thesis meets the academic requirements and shows promising results.

Informace k zadání This thesis, titled “Development of Digital Games for Assessing Diverse Memory, ” is a comprehensive project that involves designing, implementing, and validating digital games specifically tailored to assess four key subdomains of memory: working memory , episodic memory , semantic memory , and procedural memory . The thesis required an interdisciplinary understanding of cognitive neuroscience, game design, and software development. The project was moderately challenging because it combined theoretical research with practical application development. Limitation: While the thesis meets its primary objectives, some limitations were noted: The sample size for data collection was smaller than initially planned, which may affect the statistical power and generalizability of the validation results.
Práce s literaturou The student demonstrated consistent engagement with relevant academic literature throughout the thesis process. She regularly met with me to discuss progress and incorporate feedback, showing good initiative in seeking guidance. Additionally, she actively searched and reviewed up-to-date online sources and scholarly articles to build a solid theoretical foundation for her work. Her ability to integrate findings from various sources into the thesis reflects a thorough and critical approach to working with literature, contributing positively to the overall quality of the thesis.
Aktivita během řešení, konzultace, komunikace The student was active and involved throughout the project. She met the deadlines we agreed on and managed her time well. She came to meetings regularly and was prepared to talk about her progress and any problems. She listened to feedback and made improvements based on the advice given. Overall, she communicated well and worked hard to finish the thesis smoothly.
Aktivita při dokončování The student completed the work on time, with enough time left before the deadline. She consulted regularly about the final content and made sure to incorporate feedback. The final version reflects careful preparation and sufficient discussion throughout the completion phase.
Publikační činnost, ocenění At this time, the student has not yet published any work or received awards related to this thesis. However, there is potential for future publication.

Fully functional Android based app is successfully developed with complete backend and frontend functionalities. The app contains four games that assess four types of memory, namely, working memory, episodic memory, procedural memory, and semantic memory. Overall, it was a difficult project and student has completed it successfully. In addition, testing of the app makes it a good project.

Náročnost zadání It is a difficult project because it requires not only knowledge in game development but student also needs to incorporate psychological concepts of cognitive skills. In addition, database development on the cloud as backend and user interface on the frontend are also required. This makes it a difficult project.
Rozsah splnění požadavků zadání The student has successfully met all the requirements of the project. Though there is room for improvement in many sections (especially literature review), overall the work done is good. The student has created 4 games assessing the four types of memory, namely, working, episodic, procedural, and semantic. In addition, the backend and frontend were also developed. Finally, the testing of the games is done with 5 people of different age groups.
Rozsah technické zprávy The thesis meets the minimum 40 standard pages requirement. Though it meets the requirement, the student could have easily expanded to 50 pages by including a section or a chapter on the biology of brain anatomy and physiology and the details of the tests for assessment of the memory types. Though the student might have studied about it on her own but it does not reflect in the thesis.
Prezentační úroveň technické zprávy 90 Overall, the thesis is well structured. Chapter 1 provides introduction, followed by literature review in chapter 2. The proposed games are mentioned in chapters 3 while chapter 4 discusses their implementation. Chapter 5 and 6 provide results and user testing.
Formální úprava technické zprávy 90 Overall, the language of the thesis is readable and hence satisfactory. There are minor typos and grammatical mistakes. However, they are few and in general the thesis is well written.
Práce s literaturou 85 The student has provided good number of references and has also provided information on the existing games that assess the four types of memory being measured in this project. However, the details of the assessment of existing methods for testing the 4 types of memory could have been elaborated. In addition, though the student has provided details of some of the existing games, the student should also have focused on identifying the gaps in them.
Realizační výstup 85 The student has developed four games and they specifically assess corresponding four types of memory, that is, working memory, episodic memory, procedural memory, and semantic memory. Fully functional Android based app is developed with complete backend and frontend functionalities. Further the app is tested and the results are presented in a way that are easy to understand.
Využitelnost výsledků This project is related to the development of four games for the assessment of four types of memory. The development is done by modifying the concepts from existing games. There is a possibility of using them in practice by adding better visualization and interpretation of the results.
