Jako vedoucí diplomové práce mohu vyjádřit, že přístup diplomanta ke zpracování práce byl více než příkladný, na zadání pracoval průběžně a časový plán plnil bez problémů se snahou o rychlé, ale odpovědné vypracování. Spolupráce s diplomantem byla bezproblémová, při práci prokazoval odpovědný a cílevědomý přístup a jeho vystupování je velmi seriózní. Se zadanými podklady dovedl pracovat nejen samostatně, ale při zpracování teoretické oblasti při studiu překračoval požadavky vedoucího. Jeho přístup k úkolům vědeckého charakteru je více než odpovědný. I proto je úroveň odevzdané práce na dobré úrovni. Vzhledem k uvedeným skutečnostem navrhuji diplomanta hodnotit stupněm výborně.
Mr. Matulik's master's thesis topic was "Modelling and animation of biological structures" and he elaborated it on a scale of 103 pages and divided it into two parts. In the introduction of the thesis the student describes basic principles for creation of interesting content and efective presentations of scientific outcomes. This part contains both the description of necessary skills and data collection as well as the description of environment allowing to create this visually attractive and effective content. As it is obvious from the title of the thesis, this thesis deals with modelling and animation of biological structures, so the main purpose of the second part is to provide valid methods for creation of animations of biological structures using "Autodesk MAYA" program. In this part of the thesis there is also a description of creation of a short animated movie with physically accurate biological structures. I have no major remarks on this thesis and in my opinion the quality of presented results is very good. As for the minor remarks, I would be more careful when formatting the text, for example some pictures overlap the printing area and the first sentence on page 16 has a wrong text format. I would also consider reducing the amount and size of keywords. The assignment of this work has been fulfilled and considering all the points mentioned above I recommend this thesis for defense.
