Informace k zadání This thesis involved the design, development, and evaluation of a digital game-based tool aimed at assessing complex attention(also all subdomains of complex attention) The project required: Understanding of neuropsychological concepts of attention, particularly complex attention. Translation of cognitive assessment principles into interactive game mechanics. Software development skills to implement a functional, user-friendly digital game. Conducting preliminary user testing and data collection. Basic statistical or observational analysis of the collected data. The assignment was moderately challenging for a bachelor's level, involving a blend of cognitive psychology, user interface design, and software development. It demanded interdisciplinary understanding and practical technical skills. The thesis did not explicitly build upon previous ongoing projects. Limitations: The scope of user testing was limited, with a small sample size that restricts generalizability. The statistical analysis of the results was basic, without extensive exploration of validity or reliability.   Overall Assessment: The assignment was appropriately demanding for a bachelor’s thesis, and the student produced a functional and relevant digital tool that reflects a good understanding of complex attention and software design.
Práce s literaturou As the supervisor of Natália Sobihardová, I feel that she was actively engaged in sourcing and utilizing relevant study materials throughout the preparation of her thesis. We met regularly, approximately 4 to 5 times per month , to discuss progress and review literature. During these meetings, I recommended key academic papers and resources to support her understanding of complex attention and digital assessment methods. In addition to these recommendations, Natália independently conducted thorough online research to supplement her knowledge and enrich her literature review.
Aktivita během řešení, konzultace, komunikace The student was consistently active and engaged throughout the thesis process. She demonstrated a responsible approach to meeting agreed deadlines and maintained regular communication regarding her progress. Overall, her communication was professional and timely, and she showed a strong willingness to learn and adapt, which positively contributed to the successful completion of her thesis.
Aktivita při dokončování The final content was carefully and sufficiently consulted, with multiple iterations based on my feedback. She was receptive to suggestions and made the necessary revisions to improve clarity, coherence, and completeness.
Publikační činnost, ocenění The student has not yet engaged in any formal publication activities related to this bachelor’s thesis. However, she has expressed interest in developing an article based on her thesis work in the future

Fully functional Android based app is successfully developed with complete backend and frontend functionalities. The app contains games that assess four sub-domains of complex attention, namely, sustained attention, divided attention, selective attention, and processing speed. Overall, it was a difficult project and student has completed it successfully. In addition, testing of the app makes it a good project.

Náročnost zadání It is a difficult project because it requires not only knowledge in game development but student also needs to incorporate psychological concepts of cognitive skills. In addition, database development on the cloud as backend and user interface on the frontend are also required. This makes it a difficult project.
Rozsah splnění požadavků zadání The student has successfully met all the requirements of the project. Though there is room for improvement in many sections (especially results section), overall the work done is good. The student has created games assessing the cognitive skill of complex attention with four sub-domains, namely, sustained attention, divided attention, selective attention, and processing speed. In addition, the backend and frontend were also developed. Finally, the testing of the games is done with 10 people and this number is sufficient for a pilot study.
Rozsah technické zprávy The thesis is about 50 pages and hence meets the minimum 40 standard pages requirement.
Prezentační úroveň technické zprávy 88 Overall, the thesis is well structured. Chapter 1 provides introduction, followed by good literature review in chapter 2 with adequate sub-sections. The proposed games are mentioned in chapters 3 while chapter 4 discusses their implementation and results. Chapter 5 provides conclusion. The results are made part of chapter 4. It would have been better if results had been put in a separate chapter.
Formální úprava technické zprávy 90 Overall, the language of the thesis is readable and hence satisfactory. There are minor typos and grammatical mistakes. However, they are few and in general the thesis is well written.
Práce s literaturou 90 The student has provided good number of references and has also provided information on the existing games that assess the four types of attention being measured in this project. In addition, the student has provided details of some of the existing games as well as the student has focused on identifying the gaps in them. It is nice to see the section on limitations. Overall, this chapter is well written.
Realizační výstup 95 The student has developed games for measuring the cognitive skill of complex attention. The games specifically assess corresponding four sub-domains of sustained attention, divided attention, selective attention, and processing speed. Fully functional Android based app is developed with complete backend and frontend functionalities. Further the app is tested and the results are presented in a way that are easy to understand.
Využitelnost výsledků This project is related to the development of games for the assessment of four sub-domains of complex attention. The development is done by modifying the concepts from existing games. There is a possibility of using them in practice by adding better visualization and interpretation of the results.
